Once you enable the Tap to Translate feature, you will receive a notification that will confirm the feature is turned on. The notification will also help you find definition from third party apps easier. To find out how, tap here.
To turn off the notifications, follow these steps:
- Open your Device Settings
- Tap on Notifications
- Locate the app which notifications you would like to be disabled
- Tap on the toggle switch
Disclaimer: Once you turn off the notification from your Device settings, this means that you will not receive notifications for the Word of the day as well.
