The Oxford Dictionary app can send you a daily "Word of the Day" notification to help build your vocabulary. If you'd rather not receive these - or want to turn them back on - you can adjust the setting in just a couple of taps.
On Android
- Open the Oxford Dictionary app on your device.
- Tap the Account icon in the upper-right corner of the home screen.
- Toggle the switch next to Word of the Day Notifications on or off, depending on your preference.
On iOS
- Open the Oxford Dictionary app on your device.
- Tap the Account icon in the upper-right corner of the home screen.
- Toggle the switch next to Word of the Day Notifications on or off, depending on your preference.
That's it - your preference is saved automatically and takes effect immediately.
