Activating Your MobiOffice License with an Activation Key

Do I need an activation key?

Use this guide to identify the correct activation method for your purchase:

Important: an activation key can be used only once

Your activation key is a one-time code used to activate the license and link it to a device. After successful activation, the key cannot be used again and you no longer need it.

Lifetime licenses are linked to the device on which they are activated and cannot be used on a different device. Some older Lifetime licenses may be eligible for use on another device. To check whether your license qualifies, see this article.

Activate immediately after purchase

After purchasing an eligible Lifetime license, your activation key appears on both the purchase confirmation page and in the confirmation email.

1. Select Activate Now on the confirmation page. This opens the MobiOffice Activation Page.
   
2. Enter your activation key and select Activate. The key is validated and the license is activated.
   
3. Download and install MobiOffice. Get the installer here and complete the installation.
4. Sign in to link the license to your account. If you install MobiOffice immediately after purchase, the key is validated and activated automatically in the app. Signing in links the activated license to your account.

Activate later

If you did not activate the license immediately, choose either option below:

• In the MobiOffice app: Open any MobiOffice module and select Activate. Enter the activation key when prompted. The license activates on that device; if you are signed in, it also links to your account.
  
  
   
• In your MobiSystems Account: Go to your MobiSystems Account, sign in, scroll to Activate with Key, and enter the activation key. The license will be linked to that account.
  

Where can I find my activation key?

If your purchase requires an activation key, check the following places:

• MobiSystems website purchase: Look on the purchase confirmation page and in the confirmation email sent after checkout.
• Amazon or another retailer: Check the retailer’s order confirmation, delivery email, product packaging, or digital-product area. The retailer provides the activation key for these purchases.
• Already activated: You do not need to find or reuse the key - activation keys can only be used once.
• Monthly or annual subscription: There is no activation key or activation code. Sign in with the account linked to the subscription.
• Lifetime purchase made through the app: There is no activation key or license key. The license activates automatically on the device where it was purchased.

I have not received, or I lost, my activation key

• Confirm that your purchase requires a key. Monthly and annual subscriptions and Lifetime licenses purchased through the app do not include an activation key.
• Check the correct inbox. Search the email address used at checkout, including Spam, Junk, Promotions, and Deleted folders. Search for MobiSystems, MobiOffice, activation key, license key, product key, order confirmation, or receipt.
• Check whether the key was already activated. If it was, you won't be able to reuse or activate it a second time. You can access your license on the device where it was activated.
• For a retailer purchase, contact that retailer. For Amazon and other third-party purchases, the seller is responsible for providing the activation code or key.
• For an eligible MobiSystems website purchase, contact our Support Team. If the key is still missing, provide the purchase email address, order number or receipt, purchase date, and purchase channel. 

Common questions

I paid for MobiOffice. How do I activate it?

If you bought a monthly or annual subscription, install MobiOffice and sign in with the purchasing account - no key is needed. If you bought a Lifetime license from the MobiSystems website or a retailer, redeem the activation key once using the instructions above.

MobiOffice still asks to start a trial. Do I need an activation key?

Not necessarily. If you purchased a subscription, trial status usually means you are not signed in with the account used for the purchase. Sign out, then sign in with the correct account. Enter an activation key only if you purchased a Lifetime license that was supplied with one and it has not yet been activated.

Can I use my Lifetime license on another computer with the license key?

You cannot reuse the activation key. Once redeemed, it is linked to a device. Device availability is subject to the terms and device limits of your specific license. You can learn more here.

The app says my activation key has already been used. What should I do?

This usually means the one-time activation was completed previously. You can access your license on the device where it was activated.
