This article aims to address common performance issues (lag, freeze, slow response time) and provides recommended steps you can take to resolve them.
Recommended Workarounds
Please try the following suggestions, which can often resolve or reduce performance issues:
1. Restart the app
Fully close the MobiOffice app and reopen it. This can clear temporary glitches that may affect performance.
2. Update to the latest version
Make sure you're using the latest version of MobiOffice. Performance improvements and bug fixes are included in most updates:
On Windows, the MobiOffice app should update automatically when a new version becomes available. You can also visit our website at any time to download and install the latest version manually.
3. Reduce file size
Large or complex documents may impact performance. Try:
Splitting large documents into smaller ones.
Removing high-resolution images or unnecessary embedded objects.
4. Close background apps
Running too many apps in the background can reduce available memory, causing lag or freezing. Close unused apps to free up system resources.
5. Turn off Hardware Graphic Acceleration
On some systems, enabling hardware graphic acceleration can cause compatibility issues or performance degradation.
1. Open MobiDocs, MobiSlides, or MobiSheets.
2. Navigate to the Settings tab and make sure to disable Hardware Graphic Acceleration.
6. Restart your device
If the issue persists, try restarting your computer. This can clear temporary system processes and free up memory that may be affecting the app’s performance.
7. Check available storage space
Low storage space can sometimes cause applications to slow down or freeze. Make sure your device has enough free space available for the app to run smoothly. As a general guideline, keep at least 10–20% free space on desktop devices.
8. Reinstall the app
If none of the steps above resolve the issue, uninstalling and reinstalling MobiOffice may help resolve underlying installation problems. Before proceeding, please make sure your files are safely backed up either to a cloud account or stored locally on your device.
9. If using OfficeSuite
If you're using OfficeSuite, we recommend switching to MobiOffice for the best experience. To do this, please uninstall OfficeSuite and install MobiOffice instead.
Depending on your license type, you may only be eligible to install up to the final released version of OfficeSuite. If you're unsure which license you have or what you're eligible for, please contact our support team for assistance.
