How to Add a Signature Field to a Form on Windows

1. Open MobiPDF and click on Forms tab.

2. Click on Signature Field button and choose an area for the future signature field.

3. Click on All Properties to modify the signature field.

4. You can modify the following: 

  • General: Name, Tooltip (will insert a note next to the textbox), visibility settings. You can also mark this element as a Required field for future users.

  • Appearance: You can choose border and fill color, line width and style, font color and size.

  • Options: Choose the desired formatting.

  • Actions: The signature field can take the users to a certain page or a website.

5. If you return to the Home tab and click on the inserted signature field, MobiPDF will open a window allowing you to chose between existing signatures in the dropdown menu to sign the document. You can also create a new signature by clicking on New ID/New Appearance or import one from your device by clicking on Import in the dropdown menu.

6. A newly signed document will be saved and opened automatically in a new window. You can click on Open Signatures panel to verify the validity of the inserted signatures.
