How to Protect a Presentation on macOS

Securing your presentations is crucial for maintaining privacy and preventing unauthorized access. MobiOffice allows you to easily protect your presentations by adding passwords and restricting editing permissions.

Steps to Protect a Presentation

  1. Open Your Presentation:
    • Launch MobiOffice on your Mac device and open the presentation you want to protect.
  2. Access Protection Settings:
    • Click on the "File" menu in the upper left corner of the screen.

    • Select "Protect" from the dropdown options.

  3. Set a Password:
    • In the protection settings, you’ll have the option to set a password.
    • Enter a strong password that you’ll remember, as this will be required to open or edit the presentation.
    • Confirm the password by entering it again in the verification field.

  4. Save the Protected Presentation:
    • After setting your desired protection options, save the presentation.
    • The next time the presentation is opened, it will prompt for the password as per your settings.

Removing Protection

  • If you need to remove the password, simply go back to "File" > Select "Remove Protection" from the dropdown options.

  • Enter the password and hit OK to save the change.
