How to certify a PDF on Android

MobiPDF supports signing files with CA (certificate authority) and self-signed certificates. To sign your file, а certificate should already be installed on your device. In case no such certificate is installed, you can easily add a new one by accessing your Android phone or tablet settings and following the on-screen instructions.

Once you install your certificate, you can easily use it within MobiPDF to sign any PDF file. Below is our step-by-step guide:

1. Open MobiPDF and tap ToolsFill & Sign.

Tapping Details will reveal additional digital signature options such as the digest algorithm currently in use, the signer’s name, the location and timestamp server information, and more. You can also lock your PDF file after signing to prevent further edits.

Tapping Profiles will show a list of all digital signatures you've used in the app.
