Search whole phrases
You can refine your search in Calendar by using specific phrases enclosed in quotation marks.
1. Open Calendar and click on the Search bar.
2. Type the desired phrase within quotation marks.
Example: “team meeting”.
Note: If you enter the phrase without quotation marks, the Search will show all events containing one or more of the words you’ve entered, rather than the exact phrase.
Advanced search
You can use special syntax - predetermined keywords, punctuation, and operators for an advanced search.
Example:
1. If you need to extract events organized by a specific person, type “from:” or “organizer:”, followed by the person’s name:
from:Sabrina or from:“Sabrina” or organizer:Sabrina
2. If you need to extract event(s) organized by (or sent to) a specific person on a particular date, you can use a number of combinations of name and date.
Example:
from:Sabrina start>=01/01/2021
Operators refer to special symbols or words that help refine or customize search queries, making it easier to find specific emails.
