Create a document template

A template is a document type that creates a copy of itself when you open it. Instead of creating the structure of your common documents from scratch each time, create a template with your preferred page layout, fonts, margins, and styles.


Create a template document

1. Create a document. 

2. Apply your preferred page layout, fonts, margins, and styles.

3. On the File tab, swipe the toolbar to reveal more options, tap Save as

4. Tap Template

5. Navigate to where you want it saved. Tap Save.
