Add text to a shape or a text box in Slides iOS

Shapes such as rectangles, speech balloons, and block arrows can contain text. When you type text into a shape, the text attaches to the shape and moves and rotates with it.

  • Double tap a shape, start typing.

To format your text,

  1. Select the text, then

  2. Select an option on the Home tab: Font, Font size, Bold, Italic, Underline, ...

You can add a bulleted or a numbered list to the shape.

  • On the Home tab, select a Bullets or Numbering option. You can find different bullet styles and numbering formats by clicking the down arrow next to Bullets or Numbering.
